Buhari Appoints Ayodeji Gbeleyi As Chairman Of FMBN Board

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Ayodeji Gbeleyi as the Chairman, Board of Directors of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.

His appointment was confirmed in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

Ayodeji is a chartered accountant and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He is also a well-known expert who was once a commissioner for finance in Lagos state.

Gbeleyi, who is also a stakeholder in the Nigerian aviation sector replaces late Chief Adewale Adeeyo, who died recently.

Gbeleyi was also Finance Commissioner during the administration of former governor Babatunde Fashola in Lagos.
