Ezekwesili, Utomi. Odinkalu, To Handle Soludo’s Transition Committee

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the Anambra State Governor-elect has released a list of his 80-member transition committee, placing former Nigerian minister, Oby Ezekwesili, as the Chairman.
Soludo’s media aide, Joe Anatume, in a statement issued on Thursday, said the transition committee is comprised of highflying Nigerians who are coming on board to play different roles
According to him, the committee would interface with another team set up by Anambra State to guarantee a hassle-free transition from Gov. Willie Obiano’s administration to a Soludo-led administration, come March 17th.
The statement confirmed that Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, the former Minister of Education, is the chairman of the committee. Other respected Nigerians in the Soludo committee include Osita Chidoka, Prof. Benedict Oramah, and Prof. Pat Utomi. The trio were confirmed to play critical roles in the transition arrangement.

In no particular order, the following names were noted as part of the transition committee: Uche Okafor, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, Steve Nworga, Ben Nwankwo, Charles Odedo, Tony Ifeanyi, Ferdinand Agu, Prof. Osita Ogbu, Chikwe Udensi, Greg Ibe, and Alex Otti, among others.

Furthermore, the statement said that the operational style, as well as the terms of reference for the Oby-led committee, will be communicated during the inauguration and first plenary session slated to hold between January 19 and 22, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in the state.

The members of the committee are scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, January 19, a day before the inauguration and first plenary session which will be starting on January 20.

Many Nigerians have lauded the appointment of Oby as the chairman, maintaining that her positive contribution to National growth will again be felt by the Soludo administration
