Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was born on 14 July 1982, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He hails from Okija,  Anambra State, Nigeria. He received his secondary education at Christ The King College, Abuja before proceeding to the University of Abuja, where he studied Law. He received his Master of Laws degree from the American University Washington College of Law, Washington D.C. Ebuka ventured into the legal profession and worked briefly at a law firm.

However, his true calling lays in the media industry, and he soon made a career transition. His educational background in law provided him with a solid foundation for his endeavours in media and contributed to his ability to articulate his thoughts effectively. In 2006, Ebuka rose to fame when he participated in the first edition of the Nigerian reality show Big Brother Nigeria, known as “Big Brother Naija.” Although he did not win the competition, he gained widespread recognition for his intelligence, charm, and captivating personality, endearing himself to audiences across the nation.

Following his success on Big Brother Nigeria, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu embarked on a flourishing television career.
