Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled his final 23-man squad for the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
Despite suffering an injury during Chippa United’s league clash on Monday, goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been included in the squad, showing his resilience ahead of the crucial fixtures.
Captain William Troost-Ekong leads the charge, with attacking stars like Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, and Moses Simon all making the cut. Wilfred Ndidi, who has been a midfield powerhouse, alongside dynamic talents like Ola Aina, Samuel Chukwueze, and Calvin Bassey, will also be vital in the upcoming battles.
The Super Eagles will come together for a week of intense preparations ahead of their showdown against Rwanda in Uyo on Saturday, September 6. Just three days later, they will take on South Africa in Bloemfontein, as they look to maintain their push for World Cup qualification.
With a squad brimming with talent and determination, the Super Eagles are ready to soar high in their quest for glory.
