Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has made a brief but troubling public appeal amid the ongoing controversy involving him and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
In a short message shared via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the singer wrote simply: “Help me.” The post immediately triggered widespread concern among fans and colleagues across social media.
The message came just hours after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, raised alarm in a cryptic Instagram post, where he paired his message with lyrics from one of 2Face’s songs.
Hyacinth wrote: “You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”
The development follows weeks of public tension between the singer and Osawaru. The crisis reportedly began during a trip to the United Kingdom in November 2025, where the couple allegedly had a heated exchange that led to police intervention and 2Face’s brief arrest.
The issue later resurfaced during an Instagram Live session in late November 2025 with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, during which both parties were seen arguing on camera, further fuelling public speculation.
Since then, conflicting reports and unverified claims have continued to dominate social media, with fans expressing growing concern over the singer’s emotional and psychological well-being.
As of the time of filing this report on December 3, 2025, neither 2Face nor Natasha Osawaru has issued a detailed statement addressing the situation.
