Nigerian record label Chocolate City Music has publicly accused popular rapper Tochukwu “Odumodublvck” Ojogwu of physically assaulting one of its employees and engaging in a prolonged campaign of harassment and intimidation against its artists and staff.
In a detailed statement issued on Tuesday, the label alleged that Odumodublvck assaulted its staff member, Feyi Ajayi, in the backstage area of the Rhythm Unplugged concert on Monday. According to the statement, the rapper approached Ajayi, made threatening remarks about the label and its leadership, and then headbutted him without provocation. When Ajayi’s bodyguard intervened, Odumodublvck and his associates allegedly poured drinks on Ajayi while shouting expletives.
The label reported that Ajayi was hospitalized and is receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the incident.
Chocolate City described the alleged assault as part of a broader “sustained pattern of harassment, stalking, and physical violence” by Odumodublvck, which it claims now poses a serious threat to the safety of its entire team. The label stated it has escalated the matter to the relevant authorities and vowed to pursue all available legal actions.
“Our team’s safety is our highest priority,” the statement read. “When an artist’s behaviour becomes a sustained campaign of violence—particularly targeting women—we have a duty to protect our people through every legal means available.”
The label further accused Odumodublvck of multiple other incidents throughout 2024 and 2025, including:
– Physically attacking fellow artist Blaqbonez at Landmark Beach and seizing his eyeglasses, which he allegedly refused to return.
– Sending over 100 threatening messages to Blaqbonez via social media and phone, with threats extending to family members and associates.
– Following Blaqbonez to a hotel in Uyo in March 2025, cornering him in an elevator with several associates, and issuing threats while claiming to have access to firearms.
– Harassing Blaqbonez’s manager, Morin Oluwatobi, by physically obstructing her and subjecting her to verbal abuse.
– Instructing associates to attack another Chocolate City artist, Major AJ, in March 2025.
– Attempting to assault Blaqbonez at a fashion show in England in September 2025 before being intercepted by security, and subsequently spitting at his manager.
– Engaging in sustained cyberbullying and threats against Chocolate City executive Osagie Onobun in October 2025.
The label stated that these alleged acts are well-documented and represent an escalating pattern of violence that “cannot continue.”
As of press time, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the allegations. A review of his social media profiles showed no statement addressing the claims.
