Global music icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially achieved billionaire status, according to a new designation from Forbes magazine published Monday. The milestone places her among an elite group of just five musicians to have reached a ten-figure net worth.
The 44 year old singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur joins a roster that includes her husband, rapper and business mogul Jay-Z, alongside contemporaries Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.
Forbes attributes this landmark financial achievement to a series of exceptionally lucrative years. The catalyst was her 2023 “Renaissance World Tour,” which grossed nearly $600 million. She followed this in 2024 with a seismic genre shift, releasing the Grammy-winning country album Cowboy Carter, which redefined her artistic profile and commercial reach.
The momentum continued into 2025, where she staged the year’s highest-grossing tour. When combined with earnings from her extensive music catalog and other business ventures, Forbes estimates Beyoncé’s pre-tax income for 2025 alone reached $148 million, ranking her as the world’s third highest-paid musician.
While Forbes did not provide a precise breakdown of her net worth, the publication noted that the majority of her wealth is anchored in her core music enterprise. This includes revenue from global tours and the controlling rights to her master recordings, which she oversees through her own company, Parkwood Entertainment.
The entertainer has also expanded into a diversified business portfolio, which includes the haircare brand Cécred, a whiskey label, and a clothing line. However, Forbes stated these ventures contribute to, but are not the primary driver of, her newly minted billionaire fortune.
With this designation, Beyoncé solidifies her position not only as a defining artist of her generation but also as a preeminent force in the business of music.
