Senator Mudashiru Obasa, the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly has been invited by the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission to respond to allegation of Fraud. Wilson Uwujaren, spokesperson of the EFCC confirmed that the
Speaker was invited and he honoured the invitation of the Lagos Zone Office.

Obasa, a two-time Speaker of the House appeared before the Lagos House of Assembly Panel of enquiry some months ago on allegations of corruption.
It can be recalled that Obasa denied the allegations peddled against him at the Lagos State House of Assembly, he admitted that an estacode of N80 million was used for the training of the wives of 20 lawmakers in Dubai. Obasa told the House that N4M was given to each of the participants for air tickets, accommodation, feeding, and local travel. He was subsequently cleared of the allegations by the House.
