The General Manager of the Oyo State Fire Service, Rev. Yemi Akinyinka, has confirmed a fire outbreak at the Music House of renowned gospel musician, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a statement posted on the Oyo State Fire Service WhatsApp group, Rev. Akinyinka said the blaze has been brought under control, adding that full details of the incident will be provided later.
Eyewitnesses at the scene described the situation as chaotic, with thick flames and smoke billowing from the building before firefighters intervened.
The building houses Fresh FM and Blast FM both owned by Ayefele.
