Gov. Aiyedatiwa Hands Over 50 Operational Vehicles to Security Agencies

As part of efforts at tackling insecurity, Ondo State Government has handed over 50 operational vehicles to security agencies in the state.

During the ceremony at the Government House in Akure, the State Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa restated the commitment of his administration to supporting security agencies in ensuring the safety of lives and property across Ondo State.

Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the agencies for their continued efforts in maintaining peace and order.
He charged them to deploy the vehicles effectively for patrol operations and rapid response to distress calls.

Responding, the Brigade Commander , 32 Artillery Brigade, Owena cantonment, Akure, Brigadier General Justine Ifeanyi, and the Commandant of Ondo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun), Chief Adetunji Adeleye, expressed gratitude to the state government with an assurance of efficient use of the vehicles in addressing security challenges in the state.
