Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has assured residents that his administration will take decisive measures to end banditry across the state. Radda made this commitment during a sympathy visit to Gobirawa village in Dutsinma Local Government Area, following a recent bandits’ attack that claimed innocent lives.

Radda directed the local government chairman to present five community members for a meeting to discuss supporting local security initiatives. He emphasized the importance of community participation in combating insecurity, urging residents to remain vigilant and expose suspected informants collaborating with bandits.

The governor revealed that the government had mobilized security personnel to the village upon receiving security reports, but the bandits attacked as soon as the personnel left. Radda expressed regret over the tragic incident and assured the community that his administration would work to prevent such attacks in the future.

In a separate development, Governor Radda inspected the ongoing Smart School project in Radda, Charanci local government area. He engaged construction firms to ensure quality and speedy execution of the project, expressing concern over the slow pace of work by some contractors. The Smart School project aims to provide access to quality education for children from humble backgrounds.

Governor Radda’s commitment to ending banditry and improving education in Katsina State demonstrates his administration’s focus on addressing security challenges and promoting development. The success of these initiatives will depend on effective implementation and community support.
