NDA Fixes 13 June for 78RC Screening Test
The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced that its screening test for the 78 Regular Course will be conducted simultaneously across all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday, 13 June 2026.
The announcement was made in a statement published on the academy’s official X handle on Tuesday and signed by the Academy Registrar.
According to the NDA, the exercise is open strictly to candidates who scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board in April 2026, and who listed the NDA as their first choice institution.
Eligible candidates are expected to receive an email on 20 May 2026 directing them to select their preferred state for the screening exercise, a step the academy described as necessary for the allocation of examination centres across the country.
The statement further indicated that all candidates must complete their selection of a preferred test location no later than 24 May 2026.
“The selection of location (state) of choice for the test is to be done latest by 24 May 2026,” the statement read.
The NDA advised applicants to select their state of residence as their examination venue, noting that the screening will be conducted at the same time nationwide. Candidates will subsequently be informed of their assigned centres during the first week of June 2026.
The academy assured all qualified applicants of timely communication and further instructions through email, reaffirming its commitment to fairness and equal opportunity throughout the selection process.
