Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has restated his government’s dedication to maintaining security, highlighting how community safety relies on the alertness and expertise of security forces.

During the graduation ceremony for the 2025 6 Brigade Security Agencies Training in Jalingo, the state capital, Governor Kefas praised the two-week initiative as a crucial move toward creating a more protected Taraba State.

“I speak to you today with great pride and solemn duty,” “The training you’ve received goes beyond basic skills, these are vital instruments that will help you perform your responsibilities more effectively and assuredly.”

He additionally recognized the trainees for their devotion and enthusiasm to enhance their capabilities, underlining that maintaining security is a shared obligation needing cooperation between different agencies.

“Modern threats are becoming more complex, and we must match them with equally skilled responses,” Governor Kefas emphasized.

While urging continued close coordination among security services, Kefas also praised the training staff and 6 Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa, for their guidance and efforts to strengthen the state’s security framework.

In his address, Brigadier General Uwa highlighted the value of the inter-agency teamwork developed throughout the training program.

He pointed out that the specialized driving and vehicle repair techniques learned would greatly boost mission performance in difficult environments.

“The expertise you’ve obtained from this program is extremely valuable,” Uwa stated. “You’re now more equipped to handle upcoming challenges in your various roles.”

The officials thanked all involved attendees, instructors, and the state government, while promising to maintain initiatives focused on safeguarding Taraba’s security and development.

The Journal Nigeria observed that the event ended with strong appeals for solidarity and expert conduct among security personnel as they continue protecting Taraba’s residents and assets.
