Represented by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu at the 2025 Regimental Dinner Night in Abuja, President Tinubu acknowledged the military as a source of pride and inspiration to all citizens.”It is with great honour and deep appreciation that I stand before you tonight as the Special Guest of Honour of this remarkable gathering, the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day dinner and Award Night for Officers.
This gathering emphasizes, not only our shared dedication to security and unity of our great nation, but also countless sacrifices made by our men and women who have served as well.
The Armed Forces of Nigeria is more than just a military establishment; they represent the cornerstone of national security, the embodiment of the collective result of hope, peace, and integrity of our dear nation.“The dedication, and professionalism exhibited by our service men and women should be a source of pride and inspiration to all Nigerians. So, as we celebrate, let us also look into the future,” he said.
The President’s pledge comes as part of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebrations, honoring the bravery and resilience of Nigeria’s servicemen and women. Furthermore, President Tinubu has launched the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and appeal fund, demonstrating his administration’s dedication to supporting the military and their families.
