Former Kaduna Governor, Balarabe Musa Dies at 84

Balarabe Musa, former governor of Kaduna, has been confirmed dead.

This was made known by former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani on his social media page where he wrote: ‘Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his souls and grant him Aljanna firdausi. Amin.’

Musa passed on today at 84 after a brief illness.

Balarabe Musa was a statesman and former governor of Old Kaduna in 1979. He was also a former chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

Musa left active politics in August 2010 as a result of his health challenges. He also stepped down from the Chairmanship position of PRP.

He was a well known account clerk and a school teacher. He is survived by a wife and children.
