BBNaija Season 11 Auditions Begin Nationwide
Organisers of the Big Brother Naija reality television show have announced the commencement of auditions for the programme’s 11th season, releasing registration details and eligibility requirements for prospective housemates across Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the organisers declared, “It’s time! #BBNaija Season 11 auditions registration is here,” confirming that registration will run from May 16 to 20 for candidates seeking to qualify for the physical audition stage.
Applicants are required to register through africamagic.tv/bigbrother, fill in personal details, and select preferred audition dates, locations and times. Physical auditions are scheduled to hold between May 22 and 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.
The organisers were clear on eligibility conditions, stating that the “AUDITION IS FREE” and open only to persons aged 21 and above who possess valid identification documents. They further warned that the registration portal would close once capacity is reached, urging interested candidates to register promptly.
On participation rules, the statement cautioned that by submitting entries, applicants grant the organisers permission to use audition materials in perpetuity and across global platforms. Multiple registrations, the organisers warned, could result in outright disqualification.
The announcement follows the conclusion of Season 10, which returned to screens on July 26, 2025, featuring 29 housemates competing for a N150 million grand prize. Imisi Ayanwale emerged as the season’s winner after securing 42.8 percent of the total votes cast, edging out finalists including Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella and Kaybobo.
Since its debut, Big Brother Naija has grown into one of Africa’s most watched and commercially significant reality television franchises. Past winners of the show include Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Kellyrae, Phyna and Ilebaye, each of whom leveraged their victory into significant public profiles and entertainment careers.
With Season 11 auditions now underway, anticipation is already building among fans and entertainment observers over possible new twists, format changes and housemate combinations that the new season may introduce.
