Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis have announced that they are expecting their first child, two months after their wedding.
Popular Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple shared the news on Thursday through a joint post on Instagram, featuring professional photographs of Jarvis showing her baby bump.
The announcement comes about two months after the couple got married and follows months of public speculation about a possible pregnancy.
In the photographs, Peller and Jarvis posed together in coordinated white outfits, with the content creator placing her hands around her visibly growing bump.
In the accompanying message, the couple described the pregnancy as a new chapter in their relationship, reflecting on their journey from being two people uncertain about their future to becoming husband and wife and now expecting a child.
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon-to-be parents,” the couple wrote in the post.
They added that their journey had been marked by laughter, tears, prayers and growth, describing the unborn child as “our greatest blessing” and “our answered prayer.”
The announcement drew congratulatory messages from fans and followers, many of whom had closely followed the couple’s relationship and recent transition into marriage.
From TikTok partnership to marriage
Peller and Jarvis rose to prominence through their activities on TikTok, where they built large audiences through livestreams, comedy content and collaborations.
Jarvis became known for her artificial intelligence-inspired content, while Peller gained popularity through livestreams and comedy-related videos. Their professional relationship eventually developed into a romantic one, making them one of the most closely followed couples in Nigeria’s digital entertainment space.
Peller first proposed to Jarvis in December 2024, although Jarvis initially described the ring as a promise ring. The pair later confirmed their engagement and continued to share aspects of their relationship with their online audience.
Their relationship also went through a period of uncertainty before they reconciled and proceeded with their plans to marry.
In June 2026, Peller proposed again to Jarvis during a private ceremony at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, where she accepted. The proposal came as the couple prepared to formalise their relationship.
The couple subsequently completed their traditional marriage rites and civil wedding before announcing their plans for a larger wedding ceremony.
Wedding celebrations
Peller and Jarvis announced in July that their white wedding would take place in August.
The announcement was made through a cinematic video shared across their social media platforms. The video ended with the inscription “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026”, which initially identified August 1 as the date of their wedding celebration.
Their wedding celebrations subsequently attracted considerable attention online, with celebrities, fellow content creators and fans following events surrounding the union.
The couple eventually held their white wedding in Lagos, marking another stage in their highly publicised relationship.
Pregnancy speculation
The pregnancy announcement also puts an end to months of speculation among fans about Jarvis’ appearance.
Before the couple officially confirmed the pregnancy, social media users had repeatedly speculated that Jarvis was expecting a child.
Peller had previously dismissed the speculation, with reports stating that he attributed Jarvis’ weight gain to late-night meals and said the couple were not yet ready to start a family.
The subject resurfaced in early October after Jarvis reportedly made a comment during a livestream that appeared to reference a baby kicking.
The couple did not confirm the pregnancy at the time, leaving followers to continue speculating until Thursday’s announcement.
With their latest post, Peller and Jarvis have now publicly confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
A new chapter for the couple
The pregnancy announcement comes shortly after the couple relocated abroad following their wedding.
In September, Peller announced that he and Jarvis were leaving Nigeria, saying the move was connected to his plans to further his education in Canada. The announcement generated mixed reactions among fans, with supporters congratulating the couple while others questioned how the move could affect Peller’s content career.
The couple have since kept details about their current location relatively private, despite continued interest from their followers.
Their pregnancy announcement now adds another development to a year that has seen their relationship progress from engagement to marriage and, ultimately, impending parenthood.
For Peller and Jarvis, the announcement marks a new phase beyond their identity as popular digital creators and places their personal journey at the centre of another major public conversation.
The couple have not publicly disclosed the expected due date or revealed further details about the pregnancy.
