Rare Glitch for Google Apps

The Google family went through a major glitch today as thousand of users worldwide complained that it crashed. Tens of thousands of users mostly from Europe, Australia, the USA, South America, Asia, and parts of Africa. Although some people did not experience any glitches in any way.

Down Detecter, an outage tracker site noted that the Google platforms clocked out around 11:40am. 49% of 50,000 Youtube users complained that Youtube embedded in websites became problematic as at 11:54am, while 43% lamented that they encountered problems while watching videos. 23,000 expressed frustration about Gmail before midday, while Google’s main site unnerved 19,000 people who complained bitterly concerning issues of logging into their Gmail accounts.

Other Google platforms where users lamented are Google Meet, Hangouts and Google PlayStore. Users who are hooked on Google games like the Pokemon Go Game expressed frustration.

Tech Experts noted that unlike many online platforms, Google rarely encounter shocks. Google is yet to issue a statement to address the issues.
